CM Vasundhara Raje visits Tripurasundari temple

Just before counting of votes for 199 Assembly seats in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje visited the Tripurasundari temple in Banswara district on Tuesday morning.

According to sources, the Rajasthan Chief Minister will be praying till the announcement of results.

Amid tight security, counting of votes in order to elect a new Assembly in Rajasthan began Tuesday morning. As per the Election Commission, counting for 199 seats out of 200 assembly constituencies is underway, the election for which were held on December 7.

In 2013, Raje became the chief minister of Rajasthan. However, the 65-year-old is now facing her toughest political challenge.

The election in Alwar’s Ramgarh constituency was postponed due to the death of the Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Laxman Singh.
