India has reported 74,382 new cases of coronavirus and 918 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 70,53,806, while the death toll rose to 1,08,334, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 60,77,976 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 8,67,496 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 86.17%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 8.68 crore samples have been tested up to October 10 of which 10,78,544 samples were tested yesterday.
