CBI Court grants bail to Bhupinder Hooda, Motilal Vora in AJL case

A CBI special court on Thursday granted bail to former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and senior Congress leader Moti Lal Vora in a case pertaining to the alleged illegal re-allotment of land to Associated Journals Ltd (AJL) in Panchkula in 2005.

As per the reports, the matter will be next heard on February 6, 2019.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Moti Lal Vora were granted bail by CBI judge Jagdeep Singh on furnishing a bail bond of Rs 5 lakh each, their counsel Abhishek Rana said.

The Congress leaders were handed over the copies of chargesheet filed against them by the CBI.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had in December last year filed the chargesheet against Hooda and Vora for the alleged illegal re-allotment of land.
