Amit Shah discharged from AIIMS, recovers after post-COVID care

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday. Shah was admitted earlier this month to AIIMS in New Delhi for post-COVID care.

AIIMS in an official release on Saturday had informed that Amit Shah has recovered and is likely to be discharged in a short time.

On August 2, Shah had tested positive for COVID-19. He was admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurugram and was discharged on August 14 after testing negative. Later on August 18, he was admitted to AIIMS for post-COVID care.
