A fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday in a godown at Collectorganj area of Kanpur.
Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control.
The exact reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
According to the reports, at least six persons were rescued from inside the godown.
However, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far in the incident.
