Afghanistan: Two civilians killed in roadside bomb blast

Two civilians were killed on Sunday after a roadside bomb went off in the Nad-e-Ali district of Afghanistan’s Helmand province.

According to reports, the vehicle of these civilians was targeted near the district’s Noorzo village.

On Friday, At least fifteen civilians were killed and several injured after Afghanistan witnessed multiple blasts. In two different explosions that happened in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar, at least 13 civilians were killed. The two explosions targeted civilian vehicles as a group of people were heading to a wedding ceremony in the district. In another incident, two civilians were killed and two more were injured after their car hit an IED bomb in Shahjoy district of Zabul.

The Afghan govt agreed to free the remaining 400 Taliban prisoners, which will help to pave a way for peace but the security situation in Afghanistan remains tense.
