A brief exchange of fire took place between terrorists and security forces in Tangpawa village of the Kokernag area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
The area has been cordoned off and the search operation is underway.
Jammu and Kashmir police tweeted, “Brief exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces in Tangpawa Kokernag. Details awaited.”
No causalities have been reported yet.
