President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi greets people on Rajasthan Day

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Rajasthan on statehood day on Saturday.

“Greetings to the people of Rajasthan on statehood day. My best wishes to the state for a bright, prosperous and peaceful future,” Kovind tweeted.

PM Modi too tweeted his greetings. “My heartiest greetings to the people of state on Rajasthan Day.”

Congress party tweeted, “Warm greetings to the people of Rajasthan on their state foundation day. #RajasthanDiwas.”

Rajasthan’s chief minister Ashok Gehlot greeted people on the occasion of Rajasthan diwas.

“My heartiest greetings on the occasion of #RajasthanDiwas. It is a day to commemorate the valour, strong will power and sacrifice of the people of #Rajasthan. Let us resolve to make our State a haven of happiness, fulfilling aspirations of one and all,” Gehlot tweeted.

Rajasthan was formed on March 30, 1949.
