With 19,556 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 301 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,00,75,116 while the death toll rose to 1,46,111, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 96,36,487 have been cured/discharged. There are 2,92,518 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 95.65%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 16.31 crore samples have been tested up to December 21 of which 10,72,228 samples were tested yesterday.
