BJP leader Dilip Ghosh alleges security lapse during JP Nadda’s visit to West Bengal

Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP)s West Bengal unit chief Dilip Ghosh on Thursday alleged security lapse during the party’s national president JP Nadda’s visit to West Bengal. He said he has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the same.

“…there exists complete violation on the part of WB Police & administration to ensure full security arrangements for Hon’ble @JPNaddaji, wrote to Hon’ble @HMOIndia@AmitShah on this…,” Dilip Ghosh tweeted.

Nadda began a two-day Bengal visit on Wednesday.

According to the BJP, TMC goons attacked its workers in Diamond Harbour area of South 24 Parganas district ahead of Nadda’s visit there.

“TMC goons attacked Kailash ji at Sirakal more, Diamond Harbour. Aimed bricks at him. Why Pishi and Bhaipo are so scared? Shameful act of cowardice! Clearly Pishi & her goons are fearful of people’s support for BJP in West Bengal,” BJP West Bengal tweeted.

BJP’s Amit Malviya today in a tweet said, “BJP President J P Nadda’s convoy blocked and attacked on its way to Diamond Harbour in Bengal… WB Police, under Pishi, has completely failed to maintain law and order. These are signs of a nervous dictator, who knows she will be decimated electorally at the hustings…”
