Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted people across India on various festivals being celebrated and prayed for more strength to fight the menace of coronavirus in the times to come.
“Greetings to people across India on the various festivals being marked. May these festivals deepen the spirit of brotherhood in India. May they also bring joy and good health,” PM Modi tweeted.
“May we get more strength to collectively fight the menace of COVID-19 in the times to come,” he added.
Coronavirus cases in India has risen to 10363, with 339 fatalities.
Through a collective effort to combat COVID-19 in the country, Indian Government is taking several steps along with the States/UTs for its prevention, containment and management of COVID-19.
