Researcher Ajay to present paper in Nagpur on flaws in 336 years old Newton’s 3rd law

Prominent researcher Ajay Sharma will highlight the limitations of 336 Year old Newton’s Third Law of motion Indian Science Congress 2023 at R.T.M. University, Nagpur. The Prime MInister Narendr Modi will inaugurate the event on January 3 next year.

The Indian Science Congress 2023  (ISC) will take place at R.T.M. University,  Nagpur from January 3 to 7, 2023.  In this paper, Sharma modified Newton’s third law of motion, as the law neglects the
shape of the body. For final confirmation of the modification of the law, scientists suggest some specific experiments be conducted.

According to a press release the editor of the Physical Sciences Section of  ISC 2023, has accepted the paper and the same
will be published in the proceedings.  This event will be funded by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. Prime Minister Narender Modi will inaugurate the mega-event on 3rd
January 2023.

Ajay Sharma had also presented a similar paper on Newton’s third law at the American Association of Physics Teachers, Washington conference. This presentation not only strengthened the scientific claim of Ajay Sharma but also boosted his confidence. Ajay retired as Deputy Director, Education from Himachal Pradesh recently.

Many other scientists and research institutes have theoretically found Sharma’s thesis correct and original.  But for final confirmation of Newton’s third law, some specific experiments must be conducted with the utmost sensitive equipment.

Secretary, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research after instructions from the Prime Minister of India and evaluation of  Sharma’s paper, constituted a five-member committee for
further carrying out experimental work. The committee has asked Sharma for the required equipment and detailed methodology of the experiments. Sharma submitted the same in November 2022.

Meanwhile in a statement Sharma said that he has stated in a written reply that the limitations of Newton’s third law may be
confirmed through 8-10 types of experiments. But he has described the simplest possible experiments involving the rebounding of bodies of different shapes for the initial experiments.

Ajay Sharma, who hails from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, said that is is requesting for a long time to the government of India that if adequate experimental facilities are provided to him, these experiments could be completed in 3 to 6 months. Depending upon the opinions and reports of various scientists, Sharma is confident of the success of these experiments.

New Year and Covid Fear

By Mahie JK

New Year is round the corner and the cases of Corona virus has also started emerging in the country. The Medical experts and the doctors are advising people to take precautionary measures. The Government is also appealing the citizens to follow the Covid protocols. But the question is, whether there is any need to get panic?

Currently the new coronavirus variant which is detected in some countries has ignited fear and chaos in the country. After China and South Korea, the BF-7 variant of the new virus has also arrived in India now. But as the year is coming to an end most of the people in India have planned New Year parties. Some are going to the Pubs, Clubs etc while some are parting with their friends and family at home.  But due to rise in the cases, people are worried as to whether they should continue with the party or postpone it. Gaurav Shukla , an employ of an advertising company in Gurgaon had planned a New year party in a pub on 31st night, but now he feels that he should drop this idea as cases are increasing day by day.

The Experts of the Medical fraternity feel that people should not fear but must follow the Covid protocol. According to the Professors of AIIMS, if one is suffering from cold or cough, or facing some allergy problem for them the idea of party is not good. If your health is good and you have taken the vaccines you can enjoy the New- year party by following Covid appropriate behavior. The precautions to be taken are

  1. Wear proper face mask
  2. Properly Vaccinated
  3. Social Distancing
  4. Using Hand Sanitizers
  5. Parting in an open area.

“It’s always better to plan a party at home rather than to go outside “, I feel safe at home says Shubhi Mishra a student of Jaypee Institute Noida . Yes we can organize a party at home, wear fashionable clothes, arrange delicious food and enjoy melodious music , rather than to go outside and face a risk of infection, says Rieyanshi ,a student of  Engineering College. The government has set an alert in other states also. It is not that the risk of infections is limited to metro cities. The other State governments are also taking precautionary measures in the New Year. The Chief Ministers of Goa, Uttarakhand, Kerela, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh Delhi and  West Bengal, etc. have also appealed tourists to get a booster dose done, before coming to their states. They have appealed people to wear mask, avoid crowed places, and maintain social distancing.  So they can enjoy the New Year evening without any fear.

India becomes a key player in Central Asia riding on infra projects

New Delhi: The Dushanbe-Chortut Highway Project being undertaken by India in Tajikistan is nearing completion, the government informed Parliament on Thursday.

India’s Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is constructing the 4.44 km eight-lane (two-way) highway, which will decongest the country’s capital, under the USD 20 million grant announced during the state visit of the President of India to Tajikistan in October 2018.

“The project has achieved 90.57 per cent physical progress as on 12th December 2022, ” Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan told Rajya Sabha in reply to a question on India’s development cooperation with Central Asian countries.

In March 2021, immediately after the touchdown in the Tajikistan capital, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited the Dushanbe-Chortut Highway Project site to take stock of the construction progress.

A few months later, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also visited the BRO project site while on a three-day visit to Tajikistan.

In Parliament on Thursday, Muraleedharan spotlighted that the Narendra Modi government is supporting infrastructure development projects in various Central Asian countries.

“The nature of our development partnership and economic cooperation are not comparable with any country in the region. India’s investments and development projects are based on the development priorities of a recipient country and these stand firmly on their own merits, ” he stated.

In Uzbekistan, for instance, the Indian government-supported Line of Credit of USD 448 million for social infrastructure and other development projects, is helping in equipping secondary schools in Syrdarya region with computers and in the creation and getting equipment for a new reference laboratory at the Republican Scientific Specialized Allergological Centre.

India is also committed to a strong development partnership with strategic partner Uzbekistan, having assigned a Line of Credit of US$ 40 million for the procurement of defence equipment from India.

Last year, during his visit to Bishkek, EAM Jaishankar announced a USD 200 million Line of Credit to the government of Kyrgyzstan taking the historical and civilisational bond shared by the two countries to a new height.

India is providing similar LoCs to other Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. New Delhi is also batting extensively for improving the land-locked region’s connectivity with the outside world through the Chabahar port in Iran and integrating it within the framework of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC).

Unlike China’s controversial Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), India has maintained its longstanding and consistent position on connectivity projects respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries, a stand that has been endorsed by the Central Asian countries.

“The participants agreed that connectivity initiatives should be based on the principles of transparency, broad participation, local priorities, financial sustainability, and respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, ” mentioned the joint communique released after the First India-Central Asia Meeting of NSAs/Secretaries of the Security Councils chaired by National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval in New Delhi earlier this month.
