Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president and former Indian Captain Sourav Ganguly was on Wednesday taken to the Apollo hospital in Kolkata after he complained of chest pain.
He had recently undergone angioplasty following a ‘mild heart attack’.
Sourav Ganguly was diagnosed with three blocked coronary arteries following which a stent was inserted in one to remove the blockage. After a few days, he was discharged from the hospital and advised to rest.
“I am fine,” Ganguly said after getting discharged.
He thanked all the doctors at the hospital for his treatment.
