PM Narendra Modi to visit Haryana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today will visit Sampla, Rohtak district, Haryana where he would unveil a 64-ft-tall statue of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram. Sir Chhotu Ram, a prominent leader of the farming community.

Sir Chhotu Ram worked ceaselessly for the welfare of farmers, and the emancipation of the backward and downtrodden. Moreover, he is remembered for his work in the education sector, and other social causes.

The Prime Minister will also unveil a plaque to mark the laying of Foundation Stone of the Rail Coach factory in Sonepat district.

“Once complete, this will be a major maintenance and repair facility for rail coaches in the northern region. It is being set up using modular and prefabricated construction techniques, modern machinery, and environment-friendly features,” an official statement said.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Haryana Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya among others would grace the occasion.
