‘No need to panic’:  PM Modi on coronavirus

As coronavirus cases are being detected in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that there was no need to panic. He urged Indians to work together and take small yet important measures to ensure self-protection.

“There is no need to panic. We need to work together, take small yet important measures to ensure self-protection,” PM Modi tweeted.

“Had an extensive review regarding preparedness on the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. Different ministries & states are working together, from screening people arriving in India to providing prompt medical attention,” PM Modi added.

Coronavirus has infected over 80000 people worldwide and killed over 3,000.
