Pulwama Attack: NIA arrests Father-daughter duo accused of facilitating terrorists

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday arrested a man and his daughter in connection with last year’s suicide bombing terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama in which 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed.

The duo, identified as Tariq Ahmed Shah (50) and his daughter Insha (23).

During initial interrogation, accused Tariq has disclosed that his house at Hakripora, Pulwama was used by terrorists for planning the heinous attack on CRPF convoy, NIA said.

NIA further said, Insha was in constant touch with Mohd Umar Farooq, Pakistan IED maker and was communicating with him over telephone and social media applications.
