Two unidentified terrorists were killed on Tuesday in an encounter with security forces at the Waghama area of Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “#WaghamaEncounterUpdate: 02 #unidentified #terrorists killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow.”
Jammu and Kashmir police and security forces are involved in the operation in Waghama area.
Chinar Corps-Indian Army earlier tweeted, “Op Wagahom (#Anantnag). Joint Operation was launched today early morning. Cordon was laid & contact established. Firefight ensued. Joint Operation in progress.”
On Monday, three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces at Khulchohar area of Anantnag district.
