ICC World Cup 2019: South Africa sets 228-run target for India

South Africa on Wednesday set 228 run target for India in ICC world cup match played at  the Rose Bowl at Southampton.

Playing first South Africa finished the innings at 227/9 in 50 overs.  

Indian bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah troubled South African openers with their tight lines upfront. Both the bowlers picked two wickets each.

Yuzvendra Chahal, in his world cup debut gave a striking performance with four wickets for 51 runs in his 10 overs.

For South Africa,  Chris Morris top scored with 42. 

India needs 228 to win in 50 overs.
