With 32,981 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 391 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s tally stands at 96,77,203, while the death toll rose to 1,40,573, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 91,39,901 have been cured/discharged. There are 3,96,729 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 94.45%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 14.77 crore samples have been tested up to December 6 of which 8,01,081 samples were tested yesterday.
