Sushant Singh Rajput case: Bombay High Court to hear Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea on September 29

The Bombay High Court on Thursday deferred hearing in bail requests filed by actor Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik in a drug case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

The bail requests will be heard on September 29, the court said.

Chakraborty’s bail plea was heard by Court today after it was rescheduled from yesterday due to heavy rains in Mumbai.

Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) earlier this month for her alleged involvement in a drugs case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. She was then taken to Byculla jail in Mumbai.

During the investigation into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, a drug angle emerged. The NCB arrested Rhea Chakraborty after days of questioning. She was named as an accused in the CBI investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14.
