Students will not be put at a loss under any circumstances – Vinod Tawade

Mumbai : The Education Minister Vinod Tawade today clarified that the state Government will ensure that no student is put at loss despite doubts in the minds of the parents and the students with respect to the admission to Eleventh Standard .

Mr.Tawade asserted that the regular admission process to the eleventh standard will commence as per the original schedule and there is no delay therein.

Fears that the I C S E Board and C B S E Board students will get preference over the Maharashtra State Board passed students in the admission process to the eleventh standard is totally misleading he said . There evaluation of the students of I C S E Board and C B S E Board students and Maharashtra State Board passed students should be on equitable basis.

Considering the fact that there is acute competition for admissions to colleges of renowned institutions, a meeting will be convened to explore the possibility of increasing the number of intake capacity in these colleges.

In this connection the State Government is discussing the matter with the Union Minister for Human Resources Development.
