Attacking the central government over farm bills, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday accused the govt of being anti-farmer and said that ‘Modi Ji is making farmers ‘slaves’ of the capitalists’.
Taking to the microblogging site, Rahul said, “With the anti-agriculture ‘black law’ of Modi government, How farmers will get the MSP as APMC, Kisan Market will get closed? Why MSP not guaranteed? Modi Ji is making farmers ‘slaves’ of the capitalists, which the country will never let succeed.”
Rahul on September 18 slammed the centre over the farmer’s issue and had said, “Farmers have lost faith in the Modi government because since the beginning there has been a difference in Modi’s words and actions – demonetisation, wrong GST and heavy tax on diesel. The awakened farmer knows – With the Agriculture Bill, the Modi government will increase the trade of its ‘friends’ and will attack the livelihood of the farmer.”
