New Delhi, June 4 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Wednesday hold a meeting of the Council of Ministers, the first after Operation Sindoor.
Sources say a presentation and a discussion on the precision strikes under Operation Sindoor in which Indian armed forces destroyed terror camps deep inside Pakistan and PoK and later bombed airbases of the neighbouring country are likely in the meeting.
This is the first such meeting after India’s punitive military action against Pakistan launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
Sources said the ministers may be given details of the operation, which will also feature in the ruling BJP’s programmes being held to mark the first anniversary of the Modi government’s third term.
An overall highlight of his governance thrust in the meeting to help ministers prepare for anniversary events, they add.
A couple of days back PM Modi had briefed cabinet ministers, and also advised them to be thoroughly prepared before speaking on any issue of public importance.
India’s strikes on nine terror sites in Pakistan and PoK and counter-attack on the neighbouring country’s military facilities, especially air bases, have been a highlight of PM Modi’s recent speeches
