President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended wishes to everyone on the occasion of Rath Yatra.
“Greetings and good wishes to fellow citizens on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra. May the blessings of Lord Jagannath bring peace, happiness and prosperity to everyone’s lives,” Kovind said in a tweet.
PM Modi extended his wishes on a special occasion.
“Best wishes to everyone on the special occasion of the Rath Yatra. We pray to Lord Jagannath and seek his blessings for the good health, happiness and prosperity of everyone. Jai Jagannath,” Modi said.
Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu conveyed his heartiest greetings and good wishes to the people of the country on the joyous occasion of Rath Yatra.
“I convey my heartiest greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the joyous occasion of Rath Yatra. Lord Jagannath is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is worshipped across the country,” Naidu said.
“May the pious and noble ideals associated with Rath Yatra enrich our lives with peace and harmony,” Naidu added
