President Kovind, PM Modi extend greeting on various states formation day

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended greetings to people of Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep on their formation day.

President Kovind in a tweet said, “Greetings and best wishes to the people of Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, on formation day. May these states and our country scale newer heights of development in the years to come.”

On Madhya Pradesh formation day which was formed on November 1 1956.Prime Minister said, “The state with its bountiful natural resources and rich & diverse culture shall continue to go ahead on its path of progress”.

Describing Chattisgarh as a treasure of natural beauty, Prime Minister wished that the state, a confluence of various cultures, shall continue its stride on the path of progress.

“On Kerala Piravi day, greetings to my sisters and brothers of Kerala. People from this state have made remarkable contributions to the nation. May the people of the state be happy and prosperous” Modi said.

Greeting the people of Haryana, Modi described the state as brave, skilled, youthful and as an amalgamation of the ancient and modern cultures. He wished that the state continues to progress and contribute for the welfare of the nation.

Congratulating the people of Karnataka on its Rajyotsava Day, Prime Minister wished the state for its outstanding contribution towards the country’s progress.

“Karnataka Rajyotsava is a day to celebrate the outstanding contribution of Karnataka towards India’s progress. The state’s natural beauty and people’s warm-hearted nature are well known. Praying for Karnataka’s development in the times to come.” Modi Said.
