Pakistan violates ceasefire along Loc in Poonch in J&K, one jawan injured

Pakistan violated ceasefire on October 10 night in Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch District.

An army spokesman said that Pakistan violated ceasefire in Krishna Ghati sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch at about 2130 hours.

An army soldier was injured in a ceasefire violation along the LoC.

He further said, “One soldier injured during the ceasefire violation has been evacuated to a military hospital for treatment where he is stated to be out of danger.”

According to defense officials last week also Pakistani troops violated ceasefire and resorted to gunfire along the LoC in Poonch District only. No injury was reported in this incident. There was a brief firing of 30 to 40 rounds by the Pakistani Army and it lasted for 5 to 7 minutes.
