Make Nitin Gadkari Deputy PM, Shivraj Chouhan Party Chief, says Veteran BJP leader Sanghpriya Gautam

Former Union Minister and veteran BJP leader Sanghpriya Gautam on Saturday dropped a bombshell on his party when he demanded that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari should be made the Deputy Prime Minister while union Home Minister Rajnath Singh should be assigned the charge of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.

Gautam, who was a Minister of State in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government also suggested that the BJP chief Amit Shah must work hard in the Rajya Sabha while making way for former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan to be the party President.

Gautam made these demands in a letter, which was released to the media and said that the incumbent Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, should be sent to do religious work.

Moreover, Gautam admitted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was one of the tallest leaders the country had produced, but also added that a repeat of the Modi wave in 2019 was in doubt.

The veteran leader stated the instances of changing the name of the Planning Commission and interfering in the working of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).  The BJP leader also hit out at his party for attempting to topple an elected government in Uttarakhand.
