Two terrorists were killed and a CRPF personnel was martyred in an encounter that broke out early Tuesday in Bandzoo area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “02 #unidentified #terrorists killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow.”
Police have also recovered arms and ammunition from the site of encounter.
CRPF personnel was critically injured in an encounter and later succumbed to the injuries.
Police in another tweet said, “IGP Kashmir and all ranks pay #tribute to our brave heart of CRPF who attained #martyrdom in today’s #Encounter at #Pulwama.”
The operation is currently underway.
