A terror module of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was busted by the security forces and five terrorist associates have been arrested from Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam, police said on Thursday.
Acting on a specific input, a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir police and the Army arrested five terror associates from the Narbal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district during a search operation.
Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition have been recovered. A case has been registered and an investigation is on, an official said.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “#Budgam police alongwith security forces arrested 05 #terrorist associates linked to proscribed terror outfit #LeT from #Narbal area. #Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered. #Case registered. Investigation going on.”
