India’s coronavirus cases on Monday rose to 26,47,664 as 57,982 people have tested Covid-19 positive in a day, according to Health Ministry data.
The death toll climbed to 50,921 with 941 people succumbing to the disease.
Of the total cases, 19,19,843 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 6,76,900 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among the coronavirus patients stands at 71.91%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Monday said a total of 3,00,41,400 samples have been tested up to August 16 of which 7,31,697 samples were tested yesterday.
