With 11,666 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 123 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,07,01,193 while the death toll rose to 1,53,847, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,03,73,606 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,73,740 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.94%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 19.43 crore samples have been tested up to January 27 of which 7,25,653 samples were tested yesterday.
