An Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 transport aircraft with 13 people onboard has gone missing after taking off from Assam’s Jorhat.
The transport aircraft took off on Monday from Jorhat at 12.25 pm for Menchuka Advance Landing ground in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to the sources, aircraft last had contact with ground agencies at 1 pm, following which contact was lost.
A total of 8 crew members and 5 passengers were onboard the aircraft.
According to the reports, the air force has launched a search operation to locate the aircraft.
