Two trains collided at the Kacheguda Railway Station in Hyderabad on Monday morning leaving at least 10 people injured.
The injured were taken to nearby hospital for further treatment.
According to the sources, the incident occurred when MMTS local train rammed into a stationary passenger train, leading to chaos among the passengers.
Railway authorities were rushed to the spot.
The driver of a local train was critically injured in the accident and as per the latest report, he is still stuck in the engine.
Efforts were underway to rescue the driver.
Initial reports suggested that faulty signal could have been the reason behind the train accident.
