Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday slammed the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government and alleged that the DM of the area has misbehaved with the family and asked the UP govt that why is he still not dismissed.
Taking to the microblogging site, Priyanka said, “According to Hathras Victim’s family, the worst treatment was that of DM. Who is protecting him? He should be dismissed without delay and his role in the whole case should be investigated.”
“Why the SIT was still probing the Hathras rape when the family had demanded a judicial inquiry and the government had “made noise” about a CBI investigation. If the UP government is awake even a little, then it should listen to the family” Priyanka said in another tweet.
On October 3, Rahul and Priyanka met the family of Hathras Victim and spent an hour at their residence.
