Haryana on top in crimes, youth unemployment & rising prices: Congress

 

Former Haryana Chief Minister and leader of opposition in Haryana Vidhan Sabha Bhupinder Singh Hooda talking to media persons at Chandigarh accused ruling BJP-JJP alliance government policies responsible for playing with the career of youths making unfair recruitments for government jobs, followed by cancellation of jobs thus making large number of youths jobless, which is a cruel joke with the youths offered appointment letters. He said, there is not a single but so many cases of cheating exposed in the state in past few years where government jobs were sold in the state.

Hooda said, Haryana became No. 1 state in the country as regard per capita income, per capita investment, employment opportunities, developments, prosperity, respect to farmers, players and old-age persons  when state was able to get the status of No. 1 in every sector when Congress was ruling in Haryana but since after BJP came to power negativity was recorded in each and every sector in the state due to erratic government policies as a result it became difficult for middle class and families below  poverty line to meet the demand of both end meals for their family due to fast increasing prices of all essential commodities including petrol, diesel and LPG gas on which heavy taxes were imposed by the government.

Hooda said, no one in the state has been left unaffected due to excesses by ruling government in Haryana state repeatedly cancelled the recruitments made by previous governments adversely affected the future of nearly 12 lakh youths in the state. He said, reduction in old-age monthly pension amount, neglected attitude towards ‘Aanganwai’ workers, roadways employees, suspension of guest teachers and PTIs forced them to hold protest agitations against the government in support of their demands and instead of providing them relief ruling government registered cases against them.

While talking to media persons in a press conference at Hisar, Congress state president Kumari  Shelja said that law and order situation in Haryana state has been completely shattered at present and it is duty of government to wipe out crime from the state now has become No. 1 in crimes in the country. She said, no new industry is coming up in the state, rather has started shifting to other states finding no support from the government. Shelja said, ruling government in Haryana state had assured to wipe out crime and corruption in government offices but has made state No. 1 in crimes, corruption, rising prices of all essential commodities and employment to youths. She said, as a result of repeated scams in filling up government jobs often attracting headlines in newspapers peple have lost faith in ruling BJP-JJP government in Haryana.
