Haryana Congress spokesperson Vikas Chaudhary was shot dead by unknown assailants in Faridabad on Thursday morning, sources said.
Chaudhary was fired upon by unidentified men shortly after he came out of a gym. More than 8-9 rounds were fired at Chaudhary.
He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have begun investigation and are screening footage from a number of CCTVs.
