Cricketer-turned-politician and the BJP candidate from East Delhi, Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday held a roadshow ahead of filing his nomination papers.
Gambhir will face Congress candidate Arvinder Singh Lovely and Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP)s Atishi.
The 37-year-old said that he really wanted to contribute something to the country and whatever PM Modi has done in the last five years, he wanted to take that legacy forward.
Gambhir had joined the BJP on March 22 in the presence of Union ministers Arun Jaitley and Ravi Shankar Prasad in New Delhi.
