Delhi on alert as intel warns of Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists entering capital

An alert has been sounded in Delhi after security agencies received inputs of a possible terror attack during the festival season.

Security has been tightened across Delhi. Multiple raids are being conducted by the Special Cell of Delhi Police at numerous locations across the city.

According to the sources, Police through intelligence inputs received an alert that three to four members of a terror outfit may have infiltrated in the capital.

Indian Air Force (IAF) bases in and around Jammu and Kashmir, Pathankot and Hindon were earlier put on alert after inputs warned of a possible Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) suicide attack on Indian troops.

The security was tightened at air force bases in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.
