A 35-year-old man was shot dead on Saturday evening by unidentified assailants in the Jhilmil Industrial area of Shahdara in Delhi.
The deceased was identified as Hariom Sharma, a resident of Gokulpuri.
As per the investigations, Sharma worked as supervisor at the same factory where he was shot dead.
Sharma sustained bullet shots on head and stomach. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
An investigation into the matter is under way. Police are examining CCTV footage to identify the accused and ascertain the exact sequence of event.
A case has also been registered and the matter is being investigated, police said.
