A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and a child were killed when terrorists attacked security forces in Bijbehara area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday, police said.
The motorcycle-borne terrorists fired upon a CRPF party in Bijbehara area around noon in which a CRPF man and a minor boy were injured.
The injured were rushed to hospital where both succumbed to their injuries.
The entire area has been cordoned off.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “#Terrorists fired upon CRPF party at #Bijbehara #Anantnag resulting in death of a #minor #boy and a CRPF personnel . Area cordoned off. Case registered.”
