Veteran actor Viju Khote passed away on Monday at the age of 77. He was best known for his role as Kalia in the blockbuster film ‘Sholay’.
The reason behind his death is unknown.
Besides Sholay, he was remembered for his roles in films like Andaz Apna Apna, Hadh Kar Di Aapne, Golmaal 3 among many others.
The veteran actor was the son of acclaimed stage artists Nandu Khote and Durga Khote.
Viju Khote had also made a remarkable contribution to the Marathi film industry.
