Canada PM Justin Trudeau’s wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau tests positive for coronavirus

The wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for the coronavirus, his office said late on Thursday.

The prime minister is in good health with no symptoms, the spokesman said in a statement.

According to the statement, Justin Trudeau’s wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau will be in isolation for the moment, while the prime minister will be in self-isolation for 14 days.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Mikel in a statement said, “This is really disappointing but I took the test after feeling poorly. I will be at work as soon as I’m allowed.”

The Premier League in a statement said it will convene an emergency club meeting regarding fixtures after Mikel Arteta tested positive for COVID-19.
