A gunman shot and killed four people on Tuesday at a church in Brazil before turning the gun on himself, media reported.
According to the sources, the shooting took place at the Campinas Cathedral in Sao Paulo state as a midday mass was in progress.
As per the news agency reports, the gunman was armed with two weapons and fired at least 20 times before police confronted him and he committed suicide in front of the altar.
The motive behind the mass shooting was not known yet, said authorities.
Another four people were injured in the incident and were taken to hospitals.
