All primary schools in Delhi to remain closed till March 31: Manish Sisodia

In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, all primary schools in the national capital will be closed till March 31, Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Thursday.

“As a precautionary measure to prevent the possibility of spread of COVID-19 amongst our children, Delhi Government has directed immediate closure of all primary schools (Govt/ aided/ private/MCD/NDMC) till 31/3/20,” Manish Sisodia tweeted.

The total number of people infected from coronavirus has risen to 30 in India, with one more confirmed case was reported from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

So far, COVID-19 has claimed over 3,000 lives and infected more than 95,000 people across the world.
