Deepak Kesarkar minister of state for Finance, tabled the Economic Survey Report in the legislative council of the state .The survey shows the growth rate of the state is expected to remain at 7.5 percent. However the growth rate in agriculture sector is expected to come down at 0.4 percent with 2.8 percent drop and growth rate of Industry Sector will be at 6.9 percent.
On the other hand the services sector has shown Rosey picture with 9.2 percent growth. Maharashtra’s per capita income is expected nearly Rs 1,92,000 per annum.
But opposition seems to be suspicious with these Rosey pictures, the leader of opposition in the house, Dhananjay Munde demanded to verify the data in the economic survey by appointing an all party committee.
