Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Devinder Sehrawat on Monday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
He joined the party in the presence of senior Delhi BJP leader Vijay Goel. He is the second legislator to quit the party and joined BJP in less than a week.
On May 3 AAP’s Gandhi Nagar MLA Anil Bajpai quit the party and joined the BJP.
Sehrawat, who represents the Bijwasan Assembly constituency in Delhi, joined the BJP at a press conference.
Delhi will go for voting in the sixth round in the seven-phase election that ends on May 19. The results will be declared on May 23.
