With Rahul Gandhi using the analogy from Mahabharata at the Congress Plenary
Session likening the Bharatiya Janta Party to Kauravas and Congress to Pandavas, it has
become clear that the general election is heading for an epic battle. Stage for the fierce
battle ahead was earlier set by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi who, while laying the
table for Opposition parties’ dinner, had given an ‘Idea of India’ against what she called
the culture of fear and intimidation, vigilante mobs, and the mocking of scientific temper,
