At least 20 people were injured on Thursday morning when Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Lokmanya Tilak Express derailed near Cuttack in Odisha.
According to the reports, eight coaches of the train derailed.
The incident took place between Salagaon and Nergundi when the passenger train hit a goods train, possibly because of heavy fog.
All the injured have been taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Five trains have diverted soon after the accident, sources said.
