At least three people have been killed and 12 others were injured after a shooting at a major food festival in Northern California, sources said.

The annual festival was in its third and final day when the incident happened.
US President Donald Trump in a tweet said the shooter has not yet been apprehended. Be careful and safe.
“Law Enforcement is at the scene of shootings in Gilroy, California. Reports are that shooter has not yet been apprehended. Be careful and safe!” Trump tweeted.
The Gilroy Police Department on its Twitter account issued a statement saying: “The hearts of Gilroy PD and entire community go out to the victims of today’s shooting at the Garlic Festival. The scene is still active. If you are looking for a loved one, please go to the reunification center at Gavilan College at parking lot B.”
“As a reminder please do not come to Christmas Hill Park, this is still an active crime scene. We will be sharing information with the media soon and thank you for your patience during this rapidly evolving situation,” Gilroy police added.
An eyewitness said, “we were just leaving and we saw a guy with a bandana wrapped around his leg because he got shot. And there were people on the ground, crying.”
“There was a little kid hurt on the ground. People were throwing tables and cutting fences to get out,” he added.
