India has reported 92,605 new cases of coronavirus and 1,133 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 54,00,619, while the death toll rose to 86,752, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 43,03,043 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 10,10,824 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 79.7%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 6.36 crore samples have been tested up to September 19 of which 12,06,806 samples were tested yesterday.
